Technical Sales Engineer.

IDP builds AI agents for car dealerships: voice, SMS, email and web chat in one connected layer, with humans in control. Dealers are signing up faster than our onboarding can keep up. We’re hiring 3 to 4 Technical Sales Engineers whose whole job is to know the platform inside out, show it to dealers on demo calls, and capture everything needed to get them live.

What you’ll do

• Run live demos of the full platform: voice agent, messaging, campaigns, the operator queue, human takeover
• Answer technical questions on the call: how we connect to a dealer’s CRM, DMS and scheduler, what data flows where, what the agent can and can’t do
• Capture onboarding details during and after the call: sales and service workflows, BDC setup, CRM and DMS in use, scheduling rules, escalation owners
• Hand a clean, complete onboarding record to the implementation team
• Feed what you hear on calls back to product

What we need

• Clear, confident spoken and written English. Most of your day is on calls with US dealership staff
• Technical enough to explain integrations, data flow and permissions in plain language, and to learn a complex platform fast
• Experience demoing software to customers (SaaS, automotive tech, or similar)
• Organised: you capture details accurately the first time
• Available to work US business hours

Nice to have

• Dealership, BDC or automotive retail exposure
• Familiarity with CRMs like VinSolutions, ELEAD, DealerSocket, or DMS platforms like CDK and Reynolds

What we’ll train you on

Our platform, our sales and service workflows, the CRMs and DMS systems we connect to, and our onboarding process. We don’t expect you to know these on day one.
