Credit for visits that happened, not promises
IDP follows every booking into your DMS, from Upcoming to a closed repair order, and credits it to whoever earned it: the agent that booked it, or the conversation that led to it.
Most automation reports stop at "appointments booked". It's an easy number to grow and a hard one to trust: some of those appointments never happen, some were going to be booked anyway, and some that matter were booked by your team after the agent did the hard part.
IDP reports what happened. Every booking is followed into your DMS until the visit is confirmed and the repair order closes, and every visit and dollar says who earned it.
From booking to repair order
When an agent books a visit, the booking starts as Upcoming. Around the appointment, IDP checks your DMS: Verifying while it looks, In DMS once the visit is on the store's records, Shown when the customer arrived, and RO closed when the repair order closes, with its value.
Results counts visits that happened. A booking that never shows stays a booking; it doesn't quietly become revenue.
Who earned it
Every booking says who made it, in plain words.
There are two kinds of credit:
- Booked directly: the agent booked it, on a call, in a text thread or in the chat.
- Influenced: the store or a teammate booked it after the agent's conversation, or the customer came in after a conversation without booking at all.
Before this, a booking the store made in its own system after an agent's call was left out of that agent's numbers, even though the call was the reason for it. Now it counts as influenced, including when the store books it in Dealertrack during or right after the call.
What doesn't count
Credit is only useful if it's hard to earn. So IDP is strict about it:
- Voicemail isn't a conversation. A call that reached a voicemail greeting doesn't earn credit for a visit later on.
- Departments match. Service agents are credited for repair orders and sales agents for vehicle sales. A service call doesn't earn credit for a car the customer bought three weeks later.
- People are credited as people. Calls your team places from the dashboard are credited to the person who made them, everywhere, including CRM notes.
What you see
Results shows verified value from closed repair orders, shown visits, and influenced revenue beside direct revenue, and the value report compares both with the period before. Revenue shows your agents' own dollars and their share of the store's book. Each agent can be ranked by bookings, shown visits and verified value, and every number opens the conversations behind it.
Hours saved are shown too, and labeled for what they are: an estimate of the time each conversation took off your team.
Why it matters
When a number is easy to inflate, nobody acts on it. When it's built from your DMS, with rules about what counts, it becomes a number you can manage with: which agents earn their keep, which conversations lead to visits, and where your team's own follow-through turns a conversation into a repair order.
The DMS a store connects for verification is confirmed during setup.
